At this point in time, Discuits is only shipped to customers within Australia, by Australia Post. Unfortunately we do not ship our products to customers outside of Australia. Stay tuned though, follow us on social media and we will let you know as soon as this changes!
How long after ordering will my order be posted?
All of our treats are made fresh to order. Upon ordering, you will be sent an email confirming your order. Please keep this as proof of purchase. If you do not receive this email, something may have gone wrong, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org. Depending on the size of the order, your tasty treats will be sent to you within the week from ordering. We try to ship them as soon as possible as we know there are little hounds waiting for their treats, so as soon as your order is placed, we are in the kitchen.
When and how will my order be posted?
All of our orders are made fresh to order, we don’t have stock just sitting on shelves. For our bikkies and dried meats, we use Australia Post, and items can be shipped to PO Boxes. Please allow up to 5 business days for your order (depending on size) to be ready to be shipped, with delivery (depending on location) to arrive within a week of your order. All shipments are tracked (express post or regular post – tracking with signature) and if you have specific delivery instructions, please leave in the notes section when ordering.
Frozen dinners and fresh treats are for the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast area only and cannot be posted. Pick up / delivery to be arranged upon ordering/payment.
When will my order arrive once it has been shipped?
This will vary based on the shipping method you select. Within Australia, Regular Delivery takes 2-7 days; Express Post takes 1-3 business days.
What if my parcel doesn’t arrive or is damaged in transit?
All orders will receive a tracking number which we will email to you once your order is dispatched. Australia Post activate their tracking within 12-48 business hours. For the most up to date information, you may call your postal service or visit the tracking page. If your item scans as delivered but you are unable to find it, please look in all places a postman may deem safe or contact your local post office to check on a calling card or if it is in their office. If your item is missing and cannot be found it is standard procedure by Australia Post to investigate. This can take up to 35 days and is out of our control. If Australia Post deem the item to be lost, unfortunately we are not able to offer a refund or replacement and compensation is to be sought from Australia Post.
We will do our very best to protect your order with proper packaging however we cannot take responsibility for forced majeure or random acts of damage (ie dog jaws).
For bikkie and dried meat orders over $100, postage within the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast areas is free! For a dinner order containing 12+ dinners, we can deliver to your home (within the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast areas) for free (on a mutually agreed date and time).
Other things you might need to know
Parcels are unable to be dispatched on the weekend or public holidays so will be on their way to you the next business day. All orders are sent by Australia Post (either via express post or registered post). Discuits is not responsible for delays that occur as a result of delayed postal processing/ delivery.
If you’d prefer, orders can be collected, instead of sent by post. With prior arrangement, options for pick up include: from our market stall (Jan Powers Farmers Market, Manly, on the 3rd Saturday of every month); from our kitchen in Caloundra, Sunshine Coast and occasionally (by prior arrangement and approval) from one of our suppliers – Black Lab Coffee at Tarragindi, The Hound Hutt at Stafford /North Lakes or The Manly Road Veterinary Hospital at Manly. All orders need to be pre-paid prior to collection.
